PrismA portion of the BGS Foundation’s resources will be allocated to educational programs designed to increase understanding of cognitive and neurodiversity. These programs will be developed and delivered by experts in gifted and talented education, educational psychology, and neurodiverse sciences. Key educational activities will include:

  • Professional Development Workshops: The initiative will offer workshops and seminars for educators, therapists, and other professionals who work with neurodiverse individuals. These programs will cover topics such as:

    • Differentiating instruction for diverse learners.

    • Identifying and supporting giftedness in neurodiverse populations.

    • Creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.

    • Understanding the intersection of cognitive and neurodiversity as well as other identities and exceptionalities.

  • Public Awareness Campaigns: BGS Foundation will create and distribute educational materials for parents, caregivers, and the general public. These resources will aim to reduce stigma, promote acceptance, and provide practical strategies for supporting neurodiverse individuals in daily life. This may include online courses, informational videos, and print materials.

  • Collaborative Programs: The initiative will partner with schools, universities, and community organizations to integrate a deeper understanding of neurodiversity into their curricula and professional training programs.
