Approximately 25% of the BGS Foundation’s resources will be allocated to educational programs designed to increase understanding of cognitive and neuro-diversity. These programs will be developed and delivered by experts in gifted and talented education, educational psychology, and neuro-diverse sciences. Key educational activities will include:

Professional Development Workshops: The initiative will offer workshops and seminars for educators, therapists, and other professionals who work with neuro-diverse individuals. These programs will cover topics such as:

Differentiating instruction for diverse learners.

Identifying and supporting giftedness in neuro-diverse populations.

Creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.

Understanding the intersection of cognitive and neuro-diversity as well as other identities and exceptionalities.

Public Awareness Campaigns: Prism will create and distribute educational materials for parents, caregivers, and the general public. These resources will aim to reduce stigma, promote acceptance, and provide practical strategies for supporting neuro-diverse individuals in daily life. This may include online courses, informational videos, and print materials.

Collaborative Programs: The initiative will partner with schools, universities, and community organizations to integrate a deeper understanding of neuro-diversity into their curricula and professional training programs.
