Scholarships and Grants for Higher Education
Some 25 percent of the BGS Foundation’s resources are dedicated to financial aid for individuals pursuing higher education in the field of neurodiversity or cognitive diversity. This support is critical for enabling qualified individuals to achieve their academic and professional goals in fields related to neurodiversity and cognitive diversity.
-
Scholarship Programs: The foundation’s scholarship fund provides financial assistance in the study of neurodiverse/cognitively diverse individuals. Students pursuing certificates, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees will be eligible. These scholarships are need- and merit-based and prioritize students with a demonstrated commitment to the fields of neurodiversity and cognitive diversity.
-
Grant Funding: In addition to scholarships, the BGS Foundation offers grants to students for specific educational expenses, such as research materials, conference attendance, or specialized software and technology.
-
Mentorship and Support: Beyond financial aid, the foundation pairs scholarship and grant recipients with mentors — experts from the fields of educational psychology, gifted and talented education, and neurodiverse sciences — to provide guidance and support throughout their academic journeys.
